For September, Freshman Emma Wiiest was named “Student of the Month” at South Haven High School.

Wiiest has been given said title because of her hard work, dedication, and spirit of what every student should achieve, and for being a great worker for R&R Cattle Co. in Ashton, KS.

As for what Wiiest herself believes, she believes she achieved Student of the Month for being able to turn in her work on time and trying to put her best effort in everything that she can do. Wiiest also believes that the qualities of what a Student of the Month should be include “that they should have respect for others and themselves and be a hard-worker.”

As for her hobbies, she loves to show cattle at the county fair because she loves working with animals and the experience that she gets to have.

She also states why we should have Student of the Month, saying, “Our school should have Student of the Month because it shows everyone else that they can achieve anything.”
