• South Sumner Junior High Track at Caldwell

    On Thursday, April 30, there was a junior high track meet at Caldwell, KS. The track meet started at 1 PM. It was very windy that day. The South Sumner team did pretty good overall, but the boys’ side can improve on the 4x400m.

    The South Sumner Junior High Track team is a co-ed team, combining two small schools to come together and use each other to improve and build new relationships. The South Haven-Caldwell team has set new records and improved, breaking the typical assumption and appearance of amateur middle school athletes.

    The South Haven Color Run happened Wednesday, April 22 at the South Haven track and field. Zane Aguilar and Kelli Dvorak helped set up the Color Run and tell the kids what order to get ready to run. All elementary schools run around the track while high school throws color powder on them.
