South Haven’s junior high football game on Thursday, September 12, was at Flinthills, KS. The score was 24-30. The boys fought hard and it was a good game.

According to Aiden Shore, tight end and defensive end for the team, the defensive starters were, “Corbin Lucas, Aiden Shore, Emmanuel Saunders, Trip G., Connor, Gabe Crampton, Will Nixon, and Landon Geockel.” 

According to Corbin Lucas, linebacker for the team, the offensive starters were, “Corbin Lucas, Aiden Shore, Emmanul Saunders, Trip G., Logan Kuchar, Connor, Landon Geockel, and Owen H.”

Corbin Lucas also said, “The team’s biggest weakness is definitely ball security and guard. Our offensive line did play a lot better than our first game.” 

Saunders and Geockel both scored. Saunders scored off of the play trap left and trap right. Geockel scored off of a counter right. 

The boys fought hard and Aiden Shore says, “I believe we’ll win our next game.” Show your support and go cheer on the boys at their upcoming games! Their next game is at West Elk on September 19.
