On September 19, 2024 our Junior High Lady Cardinals traveled to West Elk and played against the West Elk Patriots. Despite their best efforts, they ended up losing.

Eighth grader Courtlyn Cullens thinks that they lost due to a lack in communication, covering, serving, and focusing on the court.

Cullens said, “We didn’t do the best, but we didn’t do the worst.” Cullens also says that her team was not fully prepared for the game, but they did some great things, like when sixth grader Natalie Betzen made all of her serves.

Though the JH Lady Cardinals have gone through some tough losses, they are getting better every game and will continue to correct their mistakes.
