On October 11, 2024, South Haven Schools hosted homecoming during halftime of the Outlaw football game against Medicine Lodge. The homecoming candidates were Freshmen, Emmalee Burden and Brody Heater, Sophomores, Sydnie Geobel and Dalton Kelly, Juniors, Kelly Theurer and Coal VanZant, and Seniors, Rahlee Colwell and Colby Irey. The former homecoming king and queen were Callie Locke and Cole Theurer. Lastly, the first grade attendants were Leah Harris and Param Nayee.
The school is proud to announce that the 2024 football homecoming king and queen are Colby Irey and Kelly Theurer! Homecoming court is nothing new to our king and queen, taking into consideration that this is K. Theuer’s third time, and Irey’s second time being elected as a candidate. Both Irey and K. Theurer’s favorite part of homecoming was creating the homecoming floats with their class.
When asked how they felt when they got nominated, K. Theurer stated “Excited, but not, at the same time.” and Irey said “It felt good.” Overall, this year’s 2024 football homecoming court was enjoyed by all!
