On October 8, 2024 and October 10, 2024 the South Sumner Cross Country Team ran at Eureka on Tuesday, with the participation of middle school and high school teams, and on Thursday at Newton with just high school participating. Both meets were pretty good meets with many personal records and medals.

These were some of the last meets for the season for, after these meets, the team moves on to League and then, for high school, Regionals. The middle school kids ran very well on Tuesday, with a lot of improvement since the beginning of this season.

On Thursday, running at Newton was a meet held by Goessel at the Bethel College Cross Country course. This was pretty neat because it is a college course.
With the season coming to an end, make sure to show up and support your South Sumner Cross Country Team. They will run regionals at Bishop-Carroll on Saturday, October 26, 2024.
