The South Sumner Outlaws faced the Medicine Lodge Indians on Friday, October 11 in South Haven. The Outlaws did sadly lose to them, making their season 2-4. The game was very close until the end when Medicine Lodge pulled off with the game.
Maddox Pond had a great game versus Medicine Lodge. He says he didn’t play his best of the season, but he had a great game.
Pond plays wide receiver on offense and cornerback on defense. He has had a few interceptions on the season on defense and a few catches on offense. Pond says his favorite teammate is Dalton Kelly because he blocks for Mak Blosser so he can get the ball delivered to him.
Pond loves playing football, even when it gets hard at times. His dad inspired him to play football because he played in college.
The Outlaws have three more games to their season hoping to win them.
