Outlaws Face a Devastating Loss Against Sterling

By Danica Browning

The South Sumner Football team traveled all the way to Sterling Kansas on October 18. The Outlaws faced off against the Black Bears in a tough battle throughout the whole four quarters. Unfortunately, after some hard fighting and some injuries, the boys were unable to catch up and lost the game 55-18.

Junior football player Coal VanZant speaks about the game saying, “We had a decent game, we could have definitely played better but I think we underestimated them.” VanZant has been a part of the team for three years playing this position.

Even with the injuries and tough losses, we are still supporting our South Sumner Outlaws.
