On October 12, the South Haven Lady Cardinals participated in the South Central Border League Volleyball Tournament in Oxford Kansas. At the tournament, the Cardinals played Flinthills, Cedar Vale/Dexter, and Oxford. The team wasn’t able to win all of their games, as they lost their games against Cedar Vale/Dexter and Flinthills but were able to pull out a win against Oxford.

Sydney Hall, a Junior at South Haven, when asked about the games says, “It was a little slow at first but as the games went on the girls really got into it.” Hall is a member of the volleyball team for two years now and really enjoys the sport.

The volleyball team has had a rough season but has been pushing their way through and working hard. We are still proud of the Lady Cardinals and all their hard work and dedication.
