This year’s 2024 cheer season has come to an end! This year’s team was split up into two teams causing the girls to try out twice. The South Haven girls on the Outlaw team consist of Annabelle Burden (co-captain), Danica Browning, Sydnie Goebel, Avery Strickland, Piper Dodds, Jessica Broyles, and Carley Russell. They started the Outlaw Cheer season off strong with a two-day camp at Caldwell with the other Caldwell Cheerleader, to get down the cheers, the fight song, band chants, and stunts.

They started the football season by traveling all the way to Pleasanton, which was a four-hour drive with the boys on the bus. They surprised the fans by winning the game, since they weren’t supposed to be very good this year. When asked her favorite part of cheer, Goebel said, “I really love stunting even though we didn’t get to do too much. I also loved getting to hang out with the girls. I’m really going to miss the girls, especially our Senior and Co-captain Maddy Doyle.”
