On Nov. 12, the journalism team launched their first TikTok. The journalism students presented their ideas to the USD 509 admin requesting approval for an official TikTok Page. After lots of discussion and research, the admin approved the launch of @South_Haven_509.
The team spent time brainstorming ideas for their first TikTok. They decided the best idea was to introduce the team on video. Freshman Carley Russell walked around the school asking the team, “What is your favorite part of journalism?” before concluding the video with the entire team cheering together.
