An afternoon visit to the preschool may find you hands deep in Playdough, building with blocks, or cooking in the kitchen. The afternoon preschool is taught by Crystal O’Hair, and in the midst of the chaos, you can find them learning about letters, how to use scissors, and being polite with each other. But the favorite time of the day for most of the kids would snack time. This might also be the quietest time of the day.
When talking to one of the students, Lric Clinton, she says her favorite activity is painting. She also enjoys playing with Playdough and loves recess. She also says her teacher is “cute.” When asking one of the teacher’s aides, Makenna Meza, she said, “you just never know what you’re walking into.” The classroom has a lot of energy, noise, and random happenings.
