This Tuesday, the South Haven High School and Junior High had their Winter Concert. The band and choir director, Keeley Coon, started the concert off with the Sixth Grade Band playing “Up On A Housetop” and “Jolly Old St. Nick.” The sixth graders in the Sixth Grade Band were Makailyn Byers, Brodie Kelly, Josie Metzinger, and Jude Zavala.
The next thing up was the Junior High Band. They played “Jazz the Halls” featuring the Sixth Grade Band and “Santa at the Symphony.” The Junior High Band consists of Emma Lattimer, Will Nixon, Brantley Rollins, Cheyenne Engle, Landon Goeckle, Guinevere Gould, Logan Kuchar, Trista Metzinger, and Aidan Shore. Then the Junior High and High School Choir sings, “Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas,” featuring a solo performed by Josie Metzinger, “Let it Snow!’ and “A Winter Carol.” In the Junior High and High school band are Alivia Irey, Sophia Trillo, Blaine Carroll, Courtlyn Cullens, Brooklyn Dvorak, Cheyenne Engle, Savania Fox, Guinevere Gould, Josie Metzinger, and Taylor Percifeild.
Then the High School Band played “Holly Jolly Christmas,” “Noel,” “Santa Claus is Comin’ to Town,” which was performed by the South Haven Jazz Band and featured Makaylin Kuchar. They ended the night with “White Christmas.” The High School Band consists of Danica Browning, Jessica Broyles, Dalton Kelly, Grayson Kuchar, Aiden Scott, Avery Strickland, Sophia Trillo, and Emma Wiiest.
