The SHHS Cardinals played the Argonia Raiders on Tuesday, Jan. 14, 2025. The boys played very hard and ended up coming out with the win. The final score of the game was 50-40.

Overall, the boys said they had improvement since the beginning of the season and are continuing to grow. Seniors Alex Shore and Tanner Kelly said they thought the team could work on, “team chemistry, rebounding, ability to play together, and running the offense correctly.” This game was Shore’s first game back since his football injury, when he was asked how he felt to be back he said, “It felt amazing to be back.”

Overall, the boys played very well and did good at “taking and hitting the open guys,” said Shore and Kelly. They have a promising season ahead of them with a lot of potential. So make sure to go out and support them if you are able.
