The January Junior High Student of the Month was Natalie Colwell. She is involved in basketball, volleyball, and cheerleading, as well as her other hobbies which include reading, writing, and sports.
When asked why she thought she earned Student of the Month, she said, “I think I got student of the month because I work hard and always try my best.” When Brian Reid, the history teacher at South Haven, was asked why Colwell deserved it, he said, “She speaks very good English as well as she is a very good student and is brave, courteous, and kind to all”.
When Colwell achieved Student of the Month, she felt very excited that she was chosen for Student of the Month. Colwell’s advice to anyone trying to achieve Student of the Month is, “to always do your best.”
