The November Junior High Student of the Month was Gwen Gould. Gould is an eighth grader here at South Haven. She is a part of band and choir, as well as a member of her youth group outside of school. Gould felt “really good and excited” to receive this award and she believes she got it because of “The way I am able to be friends with all the teachers and have good grades.”

Sydney Hall said “Gwen is very sweet and kind as well as a really good student,” and others agree. Some facts about Gould is that this is her first year in public schools and she really enjoys band and instruments. Her hobbies consist of drawing, singing, and reading. I think it is safe to say she is enjoying South Haven and the opportunities that have came with.
