On Feb. 1, the South Sumner Outlaw Powerlifting team went to Wellington and participated in the Seventh Annual Powerlifting Meet. The results were amazing and the team was very happy about them.
The boys who participated in the meet from South Sumner were Dalton Kelly and Landon Cullens. The girls who participated were Annabelle Burden, Rahlee Colwell, Ayleigh Nixon, Ryleigh Rountree, Addison Heater, Makenzie Callison, Sydnie Goebel, Arallai Wartick, and manager Sage Vanzant.
Kelly got second overall, Wartick got second overall, Nixon got third overall, Colwell got first overall, and Heater got second overall, and the women’s team got third overall. The South Sumner Lifting team is led by coaches Michael Heater and Zane Aguilar.
