The High School Boys Basketball team played against the Udall Eagles on Saturday, Feb. 22, 2025. This was a make-up game rescheduled due to weather. South Haven took the lead with the score being 73-61.
The Lady Cardinals played the Lady Eagles on Saturday, Feb. 22, 2025. This was their last league game of the season before going into sub state. The girls played well and finished the game with a score of 50-32.
Cardinals
Senior Alex Shore stood out the most by scoring a total of 31 of the team’s points. Brady Russell said the biggest challenge was, “trying to adjust and stop them on defense as well as stopping them from scoring.” If Russell could have changed one thing, it would have been, “Not having back to back games.”
Overall, the Cardinals played pretty well and are continuing to grow.
Lady Cardinals
Kelly Theurer said that the biggest challenge was, “Stopping the ball, that was definitely what we struggled with the most.” Theurer said if she could have changed one thing it would have been, “Our defense and the pressure we had like how we execute our defense.”
Make sure to go support the team and watch them as they make it farther into sub state.
