Terann Schweitzer, a sixth grader at South Haven Junior High, got the Junior High February Student of the Month. Schweitzer has been going to South Haven for four years, with her first year being in the sixth grade. Schweitzer plays volleyball here at South Haven.
When asked why she thinks she deserved this award, she said, “I usually turn in my homework on time and I try to be nice to everybody.” Schweitzer’s current favorite teacher is Arlene Wilson, the art teacher here at South Haven. Schweitzer’s favorite part of South Haven would have to be the friends she’s made.
“Terann is dependable, courteous, kind, reverent, brave, and is fun to happen in class,” said Brian Reid, the social studies teacher at South Haven JH/HS. When asked what advice she has for younger students Schweitzer said, “be respectful to all.”
