The South Sumner Middle School track athletes launched into their track season with a meet in Central Burden on April 1.

One of their athletes, Brodie Kelly, was asked what events he does, and he said he does shot put and discus. Kelly was also asked how the season was, and he said ¨It’s been going well so far. I haven’t gotten the distances I’ve wanted, but it’s fun¨.

A fun fact about Kelly is that his favorite color is blue. Kelly is mainly coached by Bryan Reid because he is the throwing coach.
