This year the girls head coach was Micheal Heater and he was assisted by Rheann Heater. It is their fourth year going to state led by these coaches.

We have two seniors this year, Aubrey Pond and Rahlee Colwell.

How does Pond feel about leadership roles and their impact? Pond said, “I feel as if the sportsmanship was a lot better this year than in the past years. I think leadership was a big role in performance for the team because the leaders pushed everyone to get better everyday no matter what. We all held each other accountable but made sure we were each okay.”

Arallai Wartick, a junior, said,” If I could describe the team in three words they would be bonded, strong, and hilarious.”

Kelly Theurer, junior, said, ”If you don’t feel supported, you don’t feel like you have a reason to try, that’s why it’s important to have support from your teammates.”
