This year’s prom theme was Under The Sea. The junior class picked the theme and put on a beautiful display of an ocean. The class sponsors are Kalli Nicholson and Rheann Heater.

On April 26, 2025 the prom took place in the South Haven High School gym. The juniors spent the whole day decorating beforehand. After prom took place at the HUB where they went bowling and played at the arcade.

Coal Vanzant, a junior attendee, said, “It was intense because there was a fight going to happen. The alfredo was good but the bread was so salty.”

Cole Spencer, Danica Browning’s date, said, “It would’ve been better if I had more time. Most people have a few months. I had two weeks. It was fun and the karaoke machine was cool but I also like the idea of eating before we dance instead of waiting till after prom. A photobooth would’ve been cool.”

Annabelle Burden, a junior attendee, said,” I had to wake up and go get flowers early in the morning and I liked that I had a start and something to do in the morning. Then we started my hair and makeup. It was very stress free compared to all of the other dances I’ve been to. We then put on my dress. Even though it was raining we still got to take pictures, despite that all of the photos turned out amazing.”

This year there were seven prom servers serving drinks, a salad appetizer, chicken or shrimp alfredo, and a desert. Makenzie Callison, a server at prom, said, “I liked it a lot, I feel like I would’ve liked it more than attending it. There was no stress of a dress and getting ready but I loved seeing everyone have such a good time.”

Prom 2025 came to an end.
