On September 5, 2025, the South Haven volleyball team played Conway Springs and Wichita Independent at home.

South Haven varsity won against Wichita Independent and lost to Conway. When asked about how her team did, Addison Heater said that they had some really good plays and that she herself had some aces and kills. Heater also said that “volleyball can be a lot of fun, especially when everything is flowing and we are competing well as a team.”

On the JV side of things, Mackenzie Trillo, Carlee Heater, and Xava Wiens say they lost, but are looking to make improvements. Wiens said that “we all did well, but we could’ve been better at serve receive.” However, all three of them agreed that the team worked really well together.

South Haven plays again in their tournament at Goessel on September 13.
