“STUCO” is short for Student Council. The Student Council is a service organization. Each class is represented by its president and an elected STUCO rep. The Student Council has a president, vice-president, secretary, and a treasurer. Some of the most popular tasks/projects that the Student Council helps out with at South Haven Schools are Homecoming activities and school dances. 

The 2025-26 STUCO officers are:

President – Tennyson Dark

Vice President – Sydnie Goebel

Secretary – Mae Nicholson

Treasurer – Carley Russell

On Sept. 24, 2025, STUCO had a meeting regarding the fall Homecoming Dance. Members, Blaine Caroll and Carley Russell, provided some information that was discussed during the meeting.

They said that the dance is going to be semi-formal. The theme for the dance is going to be matching with the same theme that the fall HOCO spirit week had, board games.

There will be snacks and drinks provided, but no meal at the dance. The price and duration of the dance is not yet decided but will be announced closer to the date of the dance.

The dance is scheduled to be on Oct. 18, 2025 instead of Oct. 3 or 4 due to a late election of officers.
