On Monday, September 29, 2025, South Haven Junior Varsity football played Central-Burden at Central-Burden. Their coaches, Christian Ward and Jayden Brown, led them to a win with the overall score being 44-32.
When asked why they played the way they did, first time player Aiden Scott said “We finally locked in.” Jett Bohannon, a wide receiver and cornerback, says momentum finally drove them forward.
Despite this, the boys are looking to improve. Scott says they need to “hit ‘em low. We were hitting them top.” Bohannon, on a more general level, says they could improve everything, as there is always room for improvement.
The JV boys play again at Oxford on October 6th at 6 PM.
