By Jayden Woodfin

This year’s Homecoming Dance took place at 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and including the night of entertainment and  music to come together as a community the theme this year was “gameboards” which allowed for Creative decorations activities to create a great evening of entertainment.

Students played board games, danced, and concluded the night with the raffle. The music also featured a great balance of country songs, early 2000s songs, line dances, and slow dances so that all the students were able to dance.

Light refreshments were available such as chips, cookies, candies, charcuterie boards, and drinks, such as water and hugs juice barrels. Students purchase tickets For a fair price of $10 to $15 for a night full of fun and memories.

Students that attended provided a positive regard written about their experiences. “I went by myself because I’m an independent girlie,” said freshman Trista Metzinger, adding that the best time of the evening was “when everyone went together to dance it made us feel like family.” Witney Goebel revealed her favorite part was “being with friends and dancing.”

Overall, Homecoming at 2025 was an excellent event to bring students together for a night of school pride and celebrated a lot of memories.
