First of December, South Haven Starting With A Win

By Hydie Goans

On December 1, the South Haven Varsity and Junior Varsity Scholar’s Bowl teams won against the hard-working Caldwell team. Both teams won against an amazing and fast-answering team. They left around 2 P.M., arrived at Sedan around 4:30 P.M., and got back home around 8 P.M. Both had one win and were successful.

Tennyson Dark, the captain of the varsity team, explains that both teams indeed did win, “Both varsity and junior varsity had one win each,” Tennyson explained.

Witney Goebel, a junior at South Haven High, says that the team didn’t do too badly, saying this meet was “Better than our previous ones, though the questions were much worse this go around.”

After all was done with the buzzing sounds and winning a game, they headed out to Sedan to see the Christmas lights that were on display. A great way to celebrate a good win!
