November 8, 2025, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., The Heart of South Haven Community Foundation hosted the 2nd Fall Festival! They kickstarted the festival off by putting on a Veteran’s Day parade down main street! In the parade, they had emergency vehicles, such as firetrucks and police cars, The American Legion, tractors, the JHHS Cardinal cheerleaders and mascots, and of course, veterans, reminding everyone of the very important event coming up.
There was a vendor fair inside the community building and a garage sale just beside it in the shoofly building. There were kids games, inflatables, tic tac toe, pumpkin bowling, coloring tables, cake walk, barrel train, pumpkin hunt, face painting, and a corn dig. There was a bake sale, food trucks, and a mobile bar. Something newly introduced this year was a chili cook off, raffle baskets and an axe throwing trailer! And finally, something that was enjoyed by all, the amazing acoustic performance from Kaitlyn Kilian!

Coincidently, both years of Fall Fest have had windy weather that doesn’t usually pair well with activities. But once again, the community was able to make the most of it, considering the hard work of The Heart of South Haven, another successful Fall Festival.
