On Aug. 18, 2025, the first volleyball practice of the fall season started. Following that, the Lady Cardinals’ first game/jamboree five days later on Aug. 23, 2025. They, unfortunately, started the season off with a loss.

Varsity starter, Adalyn Irey, had played in the setting and front row position. When asked about how she felt about this year’s team and overall season, Irey stated that, “It was very good. We had very good seniors and they had really good leadership. I think overall we talked better than we did last year.” She thought the entire season could have improved by “having better energy and punching through the losses.”

Senior night took place on Oct. 7, 2025. That same night, the Lady Cardinals played against the Caldwell Bluejays and the Argonia Red Raiders, but they unfortunately lost both games. The seniors mentioned that night were: Adele Helsel, Addison Heater, Arallai Wartick, and Tennyson Dark. 

Oct. 21, 2025, marked the end of the Lady Cardinals volleyball season. They played at Olpe that same day and, unfortunately, lost, not making it past the regional game.
