On January 12, 2026, at around 8:15 AM, a South Haven student named Jayce Wilson stuck out more than other students. Here is why.
Wilson, a tenth-grader and a two-year South Haven student, was dismissed from English to go to Rise and Shine. Wilson had stated that “Rise and Shine” was in the South Gym. After waiting around, Wilson said, “I didn’t really learn anything,” and was waiting for “Rise and Shine” to be over with.
Wilson was then later picked to play a “game.” Wilson stated, “You had to keep a cup on your noodle, and you had another noodle, and tried to hit others cups.” Wilson later won that game, outliving everyone, leading to his victory.
