Students and staff participated in a fun and creative Dress-Up Week inspired by popular movies from different decades. Each day featured a new theme that encouraged school spirit and creativity.
On Monday, students dressed for the 1980s theme based on The Outsiders, choosing between Greasers and Socs. Winners for Monday were Ms. Keely Coon, Della Heater, and River Billey. Tuesday featured a 1990s theme inspired by The Sandlot, where participants wore athletic gear. Tuesday’s winners were Madi Harris, Hydie Goans, and Mr. David Hole.
Wednesday highlighted the 2000s with a Mean Girls theme, and students were encouraged to wear pink. The winners for Wednesday were Scarlett Blaylock, Cash Dvorak, and Ms. Jessica Nefzger. Thursday focused on the 2010s with a Scooby-Doo dynamic duo theme. Winners included Alexa and Addison Betzen, Kody Wartick and Dax Dark, and Seth and Sloan Stroman.
Friday wrapped up the week with a Spider-Man: No Way Home theme, where students wore Cardinal colors or athletic gear. Friday’s winners were Koda Clausen, Kylie Tompkins, and Rheann Heater. The overall student winners for the week were Landrey Pond and Blaine Carroll, with no overall staff winner selected.
In addition to Dress-Up Week activities, a movie night was held on Wednesday in the gym for students in grades six through 12. Overall, Dress-Up Week was a fun way for students and staff to show school spirit and enjoy themed activities together.
