Junior High Boys Basketball this season did pretty good. Carson Goeckel, point guard, said they played pretty good. The junior varsity boys said they needed more practice. They placed third in the SCBL Tournament.

The team played better this year than last year. This year, they had better teamwork, which was the problem they had the year before – they did not have good teamwork.

Their defense was good this year, and had a high shot percentage. One of their highlights came from their February 14 game against Central Burden. They won after putting up a hard fight, especially with their defense.

Later in the season, Goeckel had a concussion but the team still won against Flint Hills. They showed they can put up a good fight and nothing can put them down and they won’t let their team down.
