On Monday, September 9, Keeley Coon decided it was a great idea to take the high school band to go march in the Kansas State Fair. That decision was quickly proven that the band needed to go.
The high school band consists of Grayson Kuchar, Aiden Scott, Jessica Broyles, Danica Browning, Sophia Trillo, Avery Strickland, Emma Wiiest, and Dalton Kelly.
The high school band scored a high two, with a one being the highest score, so everyone was proud of them. The band practiced marching for many hours and Coon held a marching camp this summer, which most of the band attended.
The band wore the South Haven marching uniforms to the fair, which they got many many compliments on.
