On Thursday, September 26, the South Sumner Cross Country team traveled to Oxford and competed against multiple different schools. The Outlaws did a very good job in their races with various members of the Outlaws even placing; Avery Strickland placed first, Addison Heater placed second, and more.

The team has a very good record of placing for both boys and girls and we couldn’t be more proud of them.

Cross country runner Avery Strickland says, “Even though I was hurt, I was still proud of how I did.” This is Strickland’s second year on the cross country team and so far, she’s had an amazing season. She’s done very well on the team throughout the season and will continue to do so as soon as she can get back to running.
