The South Haven High School volleyball team traveled to Lyons on Saturday to compete in a day-long tournament, with games beginning around 9:00 a.m. Players left the school early that morning, ready to take on a full day of matches and competition.

Team members Arallai Wartick, Sage VanZant, and Carley Russell shared their experiences from the tournament. The team, coached by Jennifer Cully and Rheann Heater, faced tough opponents but worked hard throughout the day.

Despite the challenges, there were several exciting moments on the court.

Above all, the players emphasized the positive atmosphere and strong team bond.

The team’s next game was scheduled for Tuesday, October 7th, and the players were eager to take what they learned from the tournament and continue improving.
