The Homecoming Dance allowed students to enjoy an evening of music, dancing, and time with friends. This year’s theme was Hollywood and Movies, which added to the excitement of the event.
Senior Landon Cullens said he enjoyed the dance overall. The music was decent, though he wished there had been more slow dances. Popcorn was served as a snack during the event. Cullens attended the dance with friends and shared that his favorite part of the night was dancing, especially during the slow dances. He noted that while the dance was fun, he felt last semester’s dance was better.
Junior Sophia Trillo also attended the Homecoming dance and said she enjoyed it, although it was boring at times. She mentioned that the music included a few line dances but felt there were too many slow dances. Snacks included candy and popcorn. Trillo went to the dance by herself but spent time with friends throughout the night. Her favorite part of the dance was teaching others how to do the Wobble and the Flex. Like Cullens, she felt that last semester’s dance was better.
Overall, the Homecoming dance allowed students to come together, socialize, and share a fun night with classmates.
