Carson Lucas, a South Haven Junior High Student-Athlete, had a basketball game at South Haven on February 14, 2026. Lucas and his team had to face head-to-head against Burdens Central Raiders in the SCBL Tournament.

Lucas had a slow start, which had disappointed him. But it was not just Lucas with a rough start, it was the team as a whole. They had wound up down 27-20 at halftime, but they weren’t done yet.

Lucas found himself scoring 12 points and catching fire from the three-point line as well as other teammates. The team had a comeback and won 48-40, allowing the team to advance to the semi-finals of the tournament.
