South Sumner Outlaw Track went to their meet on April 14, 2026. They left around 12 PM, getting back home around 9 PM. The meeting was long, and so was the bus ride. They had a fun time competing against the team and doing their absolute best.
Brody Heater, a sophomore here at South Haven High School, explains the events he participated in: shot put, discus, and javelin. All great activities for track, with a very competitive track meet.
Xava Weins, a freshman at South Haven High School, says she wishes she had warmed up better and taken things like her races more seriously, due to the meet being a bit more challenging, going against a hard-working school. “I placed in all my events and places 1st in my heats,” Weins explains, “So very good, especially for that meet, since the meet is very competitive.” She is a well-working student along with Heater; they are great track kids, and hopefully, next time they go against Kiowa, it’s a little easier on them for more experience.
