Outlaw Softball Team Take on Sedan at South Haven

By Xava Wiens

On Apr. 16, 2026, the Outlaw Softball team played against Sedan at 4pm. They had won both games. They ended up getting a run rule in the first three innings and then in the fifth inning.

Maddy Ferguson, a junior, not only started the game, but achieved the goal of 300 career strikeouts. Ferguson feels that this achievement was well earned and she worked very hard for it. She thought that the games went really well and she’s excited for the season to keep going.

Freshman player Makenzie Trillo said that the game was “really good, and the bench had a lot of energy.” She thought even though the energy was up, there were still negative vibes and it could’ve been more positive. Although Trillo didn’t play this game, she still played her part by motivating.
