Our students have prepped during Plant & Soil science, learning how to grain grade, identify seeds, and identify various weeds, crop plants, plant diseases, and nutrient deficiencies/disorders. The FFA Agronomy CDE is a great way for students to learn the basics of an agronomy profession, to further grow their passion in the field of grain production.
Advisor Seth Stroman spoke about this year’s Agronomy team. He said “I think they did alright” as there is always room for improvement. If they continue to work hard and practice, next year they may come in the top three teams.
